What is a duckbill valve?

flexible rubber check valve, which has the function of odor
blocking and preventing sewage backflow in sewage drainage system,
rainwater drainage system, underground parking lot drainage system,
etc., which can prevent flood and sewage backflow into the basement
or municipal pipeline.
How the duckbill valve works
1. The liquid passes through the valve, and then the valve is
opened.
2. When the flow rate or pressure increases, the opening amplitude
of the duckbill valve will increase with it; If the flow of water
stops, the anti-water pressure or atmospheric pressure will
compress the duckbill valve tightly, preventing the liquid or odor
from flowing back.
3. The pressure required for the lifting of the duckbill valve is
not very large, and the valve can be opened with a water level
difference of 250 Pa inches.
