Product Introduction
PTFE lined rubber fitting is a specially constructed pipe connection lined with a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material inside the rubber joint. PTFE is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction and non-adhesion, and is widely used in piping systems in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.

1. Excellent corrosion resistance
PTFE-lined fittings are lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE),
which is known for its excellent chemical resistance. PTFE is
resistant to almost all known chemicals, including strong acids,
bases, solvents, and more. In chemical plants, sewage treatment
plants and other environments, pipelines often need to transport
corrosive substances, and traditional metal pipes or rubber
materials are easy to corrode, resulting in potential safety
hazards such as leaks and pipe bursts. The PTFE lining layer lined
with PTFE fittings effectively blocks corrosive substances and
prolongs the service life of the pipe.
2. Excellent high temperature resistance
In addition to corrosion resistance, PTFE-lined fittings offer
excellent resistance to high temperatures. PTFE has a high melting
point of 327°C and remains stable even at high temperatures. In
many industrial scenarios, the temperature of the medium conveyed
in the pipeline is extremely high, and ordinary rubber joints are
prone to aging, softening and even melting in high temperature
environments, while PTFE-lined joints can work normally in extreme
temperatures.
3. Excellent aging resistance and weather resistance
Industrial production is often accompanied by high frequency
pressure changes and external environmental erosion, which will
accelerate the aging of rubber materials. In contrast, PTFE-lined
fittings are not only resistant to chemicals and high temperatures,
but also highly resistant to weathering and aging. Even if it is
used outdoors with strong ultraviolet rays, or when it is soaked in
oil, acid and alkali solutions for a long time, its service life is
far beyond that of ordinary rubber joints.
4. Good flexibility and compensating ability
Despite being lined with rigid PTFE, PTFE-lined fittings retain
excellent flexibility. It is able to withstand axial, lateral and
angular displacements in the pipe, effectively absorbing the
expansion and contraction of the pipe due to temperature changes or
installation errors. Because of this, PTFE-lined fittings not only
protect the pipes, but also increase the safety of the system.
